This restaurant just opened down the street. It is a chain but I love the exterior elevation and the colors they use. So I sat in the parking lot and drew it. Haven't eaten there yet, but maybe soon.
Popeye? All I can think of is the spinach scare? How is the food? The sketch is terrific! I too love the colors and the variations in elevation -- you captured it beautifully!
This one's great! It reminds me a little of Natalie Goldberg's work in her book, Living Color. And my favorite at Panera is the Sesame Semolina bread. But here you have to get it early, because they always seem to sell out of it.
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit. Please do leave a comment, as I read each and every one. They are my encouragement and inspiration to continue posting about my artistic endeavors.
What a lovely painting. You have been on a roll here! They look so interesting.
ReplyDeleteGo ahead, try it. You'll be hooked. This is my favorite place to sketch people.

ReplyDeleteMmm do go in. Chicken frontega and french onion soup are my top picks. They have delicious souffles and croissants, too. Ok, now I'm hungry!
ReplyDeleteYou are right, the color palette is so warm and inviting. It's a very sketch-friendly place. With free wi-fi! How can you beat it?
