Apples
I'm really happy with these apples. I learned so much from my T.V. art teacher Jerry Yarnell -- my husband tells me these classes are probably 20 years old LOL I don't care -- I figure the principles are still the same. I get them on the BYU channel on Saturday. I record them and then I can go back and watch as many times as I like.
Marilyn, these apples are just gorgeous!!! And I love the setting in the grass, it's so simple yet so effective. What media did you use for this? It looks like oil. Beautiful beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOH YES!!! MARILYNN!!! THESE ARE JUICY, BRIGHT, CRISP, AWESOME APPLES!!! GLORIOUS!!! GREAT SETTING TOO!! BRAVA! BRAVA!
ReplyDeleteThese apples came out great! You really captured the color and highlights. I like how you pout them in the grass. I never would have though of that! I wish I could watch your TV art teacher!
ReplyDeleteGreat apples. We just went to Oak Glen and saw many apples on the ground in the orchards. I would never have thought to paint them there. Very creative.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the setting -- it was a really wonderful idea to put them in the grass! Great piece!
