The Ascension

This painting was done on cardboard. It was too large to get it all on my scanner, but the basic painting is here. I used molding paste and a waffle weave bag for texture. Painted over with acrylics and India ink. It's my rendition of the "self" uniting with the "Self" and "Oneness".

    Teri,
    I don't always start out with an idea. I just start messing with color and texture. As I worked with it, it made me think of the "ascended" state. Thanks for visiting my blog.
