The Theme is 3 (Three)

This week the theme is "three".
I used one of my paintings as a background and then a layer of Kim's texture called "Sweettart". I applied a brush I made with my ginko drawing. Then I added the number 3 with a drop shadow and bevel to represent a playing card. The font is called "Monbijoux".  I finished with a stroke selection around the whole thing.
Be sure to look at all the other interpretations of "three" by visiting Kim's website - just click on the "Texture Tuesday" badge below.

  6. What a clever use of "three"... I love the mixture of text, image, and texture here.
Thank you for visiting my blog -- I would definitely recommend the silly photography class, if only for the discipline of getting out and shooting with a new theme every day. It is inexpensive and the community is great. The whole point was to have fun and not take yourself too seriously while learning a few new things about photography!

  8. Hi Marilyn, I like how you transformed your artwork into a collage. The quirky mix of fonts through the center is fun and whimsical.
