Run your mouse over the image and see the before shot. Actually I had more of a challenge getting the "mouseover" technique to work than I did making the "swirl". I watched Kim Klassen's tutorial on the mouseover. I had done it before on a couple of my photos, but I was never able to do it again. I would always be in a hurry to get my post up for the challenge and I would just get frustrated. When I found Kim's tutorial video, I was so excited and thought I would finally get it down. It did not work! Arghhh!!! Okay, I know HTML is fussy and you absolutely cannot mess with those quotation mark thingies. I was sure I had everything just so, but no, I did not. So I started over again and finally it worked, so run your mouse over it 100 times if you wish. I plan to do just that.

Both of these textures were free on Bonnie's website. Go investigate.

Oh my!!! Veritable RIOT of beautiful colors! I, too, played with the Twirl technique, but I didn't quite achieve the great look that you did. There are many wonderful looks in your creation.

You've been busy!! The Twirl is so beautiful I almost prefer it without the textures - but I make the textures so I can't say that - right? Like the one textured with Bonjour Ma Douce. Always fun to come here Marilyn. Thanks for sharing on Photo Art Friday!

ReplyDeleteHi Marilyn, I definitely made a point of mousing over the image to see the before! It is kind of a cool little thing to see a before and then an after. I wouldn't mind learning how to do it myself (Although, after reading about your struggles I have my doubts if I can pull it off.) I really like your swirl artworks. The first is my favourite, maybe because it looks like a flower and god knows I like flowers.
