Seems every day since the first of November has flown by. I'm scurrying around trying to get everything ready for Sunday. That is the day my side of the family will celebrate our Christmas. Mike's mom will be here too. I've been debating what to have for dinner, and I think I will just get a large half salmon from Costco. I'll roast it and make a mustard cream sauce. Another tradition is scalloped potatoes. I'll have a large green salad with pecans and dried cranberries and some sort of green veggie…..pie for dessert.
That should do it!
This image is from a shoot I did for our Christmas card. It was inspired by something I saw in a magazine.
I combined several images for the triptych below. The image on the right is similar to the one I used for the card. I used Kim's texture "And Then Some" on it and messed around with a couple presets. Overall I liked how these turned out. It was fun to use pink instead of the traditional red and green…..and of course I'm a sucker for anything glittery or glimmery.

Merry Christmas Marilyn, your dinner plans sound just perfect. Salmon is my all time favorite fish. Your Christmas card image is just beautiful. Love the pink tones and softness of the image. I love thinking about what I will be doing for a card each year that will go out to a few friends and family and I am sure this one will be so well received. Happy Holidays.
