Drawing Practice

It's been so long since I've drawn. I promise myself I'm going to draw everyday and then what happens? A friend calls for lunch, too many errands. Then I think about all the people who work like I used to, and they get so much more done within the same number of hours. I've become seriously lazy, but I do love it. It's such a treat after working for 45 years. I plan to continue being lazy, but I realize if I don't draw everyday, I lose the skill that I have built.

I loved this white whippet I saw in a magazine. So purely beautiful.

    I know how that feels. Life tends to get between what we want to do and what we do. And the dog is lovely.
