This is really very personal, but I guess the art work frees me of some of the pain. My son passed away February 28 after a long battle with cancer. To me it was much the same as the butterfly leaving its crysalis and flying free. I know many of us artists use our art work to express our innermost feelings.

Marilyn, my deepest sympathy for your great loss. I hope things are slowing improving and that you have gained strength from this experience. A loss like this is so difficult.

My heart just ached when I read your blog - I will certainly be adding you and your family to my prayer list! Art is wonderful therapy and I hope you feel free to just let it take you where you need to go.
I so sorry. I think the people we love and loose are always with us in way.
