What a fun challenge.....
I had some painted tissue paper left from the collage I did after watching Carrie Burns Brown video. I glued to my journal. I don't usually work with this color combination, so it was nice to do something different.
I added some painted corrugated light bulb packaging on either side, a couple rubber stamps and affixed some "hardware" on the right side.
Forgot to take a picture with the red stamps and the dry brush paint, but you get the idea..... I then added my drawing of the two women with Photoshop Elements. It could have been done just as easily using a transfer or transparency. I'm just showing off my new skill!!
You might want to look at lots of great "street team" art on Michelle Ward's blog You can find all the entries in the left side bar.
If you like what you see, be sure to join us. No pressure. The challenges are monthly and you can choose to play or pass .

Hi Marilyn,
I love that you went new colors.
Did you scan the page and then do the photoshop stuff?
Love it.

Marilyn, I am partial to these colors, great pages! How cool that you had painted tissue just waiting to be used. The textures are fab. Thanks for sharing with the team!
thats a cool page! I like your "hardware" you added on the right page :)
very nice. I really like the corrugated cardboard elements with the brown tissue! I am wondering how you got the drawing onto the page if not with a transfer/transparency?
FAB, FAB, FABULOUS! What a great look! Hugs, Diane
Hi. Love what you did. I really need to buy some nice stamps... Might treat myself for my birthday!
Very impressed with your photoshop skills. I love the colors! Helen
The color scheme and textures are so great here. You played with the tissue really well !
Cheers, Crusader !
First time to your blog, I found you at GGP...I love how you did the journal pages...love the colors you chose, I like pops of white. I clicked on the finished pages and the detail is amazing!
Cheers,
Mary
How wonderfully inventive and creative to produce such a gorgeous journal. I love these colors- earthy and soft all at the same time. Your patterns and textural effects are just great. Will definitely hold on to tissue paper that's not in good enough condition to reuse for gifting- but would be great for arting!!
Great pages !! Love the swirl dots line and also the texture caused by the tissue paper.
Lovely texture and colors with a bit of oriental flavour. Very nice!
I am just loving the textures of these pages! The tissue was so fun to work with! Great pages :)
Great layouts. I love your circle/dot stamp.
