Only the second stage here - after staining tissue papers and covering the mat board, I added a couple decorated papers and my 5 x 5 collage as the focus. I'm trying to decide what I want to do with all the red -- way too much! Oh well, it must have been one of those red days.

I personally LIKE the red and don't think it is too much.

Paynes Grey can often tone down reds. Paynes is more bluish than grey. . . sometimes a little black takes the edge off of red. I think that you're onto something here!
