I've heard about missing muses many times and felt fortunate not to have had it happen to me.......
until now (maybe there was one other time).
But here I am floating somewhere in the ether without
my muse. It's an odd feeling.
Maybe I just OD'd on my eClasses. My paintings are unfinished, and there is not a texture out there
right now that gets me excited enough to want to create a masterpiece in Photoshop!
I even cheated and purchased my Christmas cards this year. For the past 17 years I have created my own cards. Pretty depressing.....
I finished my Lightroom class, and I feel like I don't know anymore than when I started.
Okay enough of this!
I saw this quote in my "Whole Living" magazine. So I found
an image I've posted previously and changed the
text. It resonates with me.
I have to go look for my muse right now.......

Marilyn, I know how frustrating it is to feel uninspired and unmotivated, but maybe muses are like butterflies~~when you chase them, they fly away, but when you stand still, they land on you shoulder!
Not to worry, Marilyn. The Muse will reappear when you least expect her. I love your new header, which may not be so new, but it's new to me. So festive. Happy Holidays!
your muse is bound to come back in the window soon as Christmas is done. Bet you'll be itching to start some new project. I love the template surrounding the verse and image Marilyn. Best wishes
I am too familiar with the uninspired feelings...so hard to deal with sometimes. Keep at it & you will fall right back into it. I love this piece...it's beautiful!
