Second Life

Here it is in its second life. I decided I would like yellow instead of the turquoise, added some images and a gel transfer of my contemplative woman. I still don't like it. It doesn't have any life. Images are too disparate. It's back to the think tank for some more R & D. Generally my collages take on a life of their own, so I'm waiting for this one to go in some direction. Stay tuned for Third Life.

I know we are each more critical of our own work but I REALLY love this! I love the colors and the depth of layers. I always enjoy art that coaxes me to pause and look into the corners and beyond the surface. This does exactly that!

I agree with Kathleen! I LOVE this. I think it's a beautiful color palette and very fun to look at...I can't imagine what you think is missing!

Wow Marilyn - I agree with the other comments - and especially love the palette and the areas around the zebra stripes and the variety of textural space and layering - beautiful collage.
