It's the Little Things - Texture Tuesday

Yep, that's our theme for this week - the little things.
I must have been stuck on little "animals" or creatures....
Take one tiny hummingbird baby in the nest, add
a layer of bokeh and a layer of Kim Klassen's
"scripted", play around with some filters
and voila!! There you have it.  Kim is so generous, she gives
many of her textures away.  And she teaches some
great classes on textures.  Be sure to visit her site!  There are many more examples of various artists' work there as well.
And for my next number, I used Kim's "por vous" and also Nick Fortune's gorgeous "green #1" texture which you can have for free.  Just hop on over to his site. The image is courtesy of
Flickr Commons.

I played around with blending modes on this one too.  Have some fun getting some great looks with these textures.
It's the little things that make me happy like doing just that!

love the ladybird - and good to hear I'm not the only one who really gets pleasure from playing with the full set of blending modes

I see lots of colour going on here! Your Ladybird looks psychedelic and far-out! Looks kinda cool with the texture. Thank you!!
