Texture Tuesday's theme is "Looking Down". I took this photo at one of our local skateboard parks. I
used Kim's "cool grunge" texture and also added some grunge brush strokes. The image was perfect
for adding text which I wasted no time doing. My son used to be an avid skateboarder, and this young
boy reminds me of that time in my life. I wonder sometimes how we live to become adults
but he had no fear. click on the button below to go to Kim's linky party and see lots of other
interpretations of this theme.

OH! vad häftigt. Den kan med fördel användas som reklam för sporten. Ha de gott.
I love everything about this photo - the subject - the composition - texture and text all combined make a perfect photo.

Light Trigger: Texture Tuesday
Hi Marilyn,
Love image and beautifully processed :)
I haven't participated in a Texture Tuesday for ages.. maybe next week.
Great image Marilyn! I love the scrubbed look which fits the image so perfectly! Bravo!
Love the texture with this subject! My son was into rollerblading and built his own ramps. Kids came from blocks away. Thanks for jogging fun memories!
A great image for the "looking down" theme. Love the texture and text.
Very interesting, I love the framing and the colors in the texture. Greetings.
Your photo is a perfect choice for the topic, and I love the use of that texture - I haven't used it yet.
My son lives in Orange County and while there visiting I captured some shots similar to yours and it is amazing that these kids have absolutely no fear...ahh to be so fortunate to live without fear. Great shot and texture!!
This is the perfect looking down!
Marilyn, this is fabulous. I love the processing you did!
Great perspective! It's been eons since I was on a skateboard!
Hi Marilyn! I have missed doing the Texture Tuesdays but sometimes when she has a certain theme, sometimes it just seems hard for me to get into them for some reason.
Your from Chattanooga? I've been there many times and road the ChooChoo as a child lol. I've been all over that beautiful State of Tennessee! All my grandparents, parents, are from a town outside of Knoxville. I just LOVE it here. I think of moving there sometimes, to those wonderful, beautiful mountains. I can almost smell the freshness now.
Love your TT ! Your son is very talented!
hugggggs xo
Great shot!
